A FINE ART COFFEE TABLE LOOK BOOK
Created and curated by Composite Photographer & Digital Artist, Jamal Bonaparte, 'The Gallery' is a coffee table look book featuring Bonaparte's take on the fine art industry. Inspired by the Renaissance era, all subjects in the collection have been digitally manipulated to resemble the famous Greek & Roman statues of the 15th century.
The Vision
One year after the release of TITANS Vol.1 I wanted to create a collection of artworks that I could use as my debut into the Art Basel Miami scene. With so much contemporary art flooding the Wynwood streets every year, I felt delightfully obligated to do something more classic. Like the art you might see in a historic museum. Combining that concept with my portrait photography, I simply said, "I'm going to turn models into statues." Because you know, timeless beauty is a thing.
